Love ProQuest!  The thing I liked the best is when I put in Lewis and Clark as the subject, the program kept giving me differnet topics to search and then narrowing down the topic until I chose the Native American view on Lewis and Clark.  Great tool for finding a research topic.
I also like the copy and paste feature to use on papers.  Great idea!

Lesson 4

After this lesson, I just wanted to sit down and write a paper!  Great research tool. When I think about all the time I spent in college sitting in the school library looking up resources for a paper, I could just cry.  I wish I would have had SIRS!

Lesson 3

Learning Expess will be a great tool for our patons.  We have a large number of high school students that use our computer lab.  I can't wait to show them the practice test for ACT. We also have a number of parents that have asked about help for their children who are having some problems with reading.  I feel this resourse will be very helpful.

World Book Lesson 1

I finally have my blog working!  Thanks Julie!
Love the World Book lesson.  We have lots of students from the near by school working on reports and we are working at getting them signed up for State Library cards so they can use this great learning tool from home.
I received my State Library card last week and I am so exciting to use these programs at home!
We are all working together at the Library on this Challenge and are learning so much!
